simple yet effective

Quite niceley done, I like how you can use so little in your songs and yet acheive so much. Is it okay if I attempt a remix of this?

15thDimension responds:

Yeah sure, go ahead!

FFFUUU--

VERY nice breaks, when I was expecting a slow trance this whole wall of things just came flying at me - I was literally blasted backwards. The melody is niceley thought out as well, and in general I loved it. Well done~

15thDimension responds:

I'm gald you like, it thanks for the review.

VERY nice

I love how you mixed this song. There isn't a single blank space in the song where it lost depth, and I like your instrument choices. Sounds like it would be great in a movie soundtrack, even. Great job dude, keep it up!

steven-mcl responds:

Lol thanks, I just used what seemed to sound the best for what I wanted. :P Custom synths I made myself in Toxic Biohazard and I think I used Vanguard in there somewhere, can't quite remember at the moment. Thanks for the Review. :D

BACON.

Where would we be without Bacon?

Pure-Metal-UTA responds:

We would all be sent to the depths of Vegetarian hell without bacon

Not exactly Rave, but...

...but I still like this. This is more along the lines of Trance for me, rave is technically faster and more pump-y. A little more variation in the melody and buildup might be nice, but for a relaxing boredome buster this is actually quite nice.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

I'm aware,

Thanks for listeing and writing a review:3

PsyTrance couldn't get any better on NewGrounds

VERY well done. Loving the reverb and synths you used in this. Reminds me of an amazing X files remix I heard once, only the drumtrack has a hint of something else familiar. Whatever you did to it, I'm enjoying this the further in I listen. And the South Park quotes just nailed it perfectly.

hopeku responds:

thanks a lot! :)

Needs a few more peaks...

Not saying this is crap, you did a really nice job remixing and adding the kick pretty well, though like a few others have said maybe you could put in a little more peak and high notes to vary the main melody occassionally. Still like what you did with this though.

DjAbbic responds:

Yeah I tried keeping it alike to Basshunter's version, as in not changing much. Thanks for the review though :)

A little repetitive...

But very nice the further you got into it. Love your warping on the main melody, suprisingly relaxing. (I think it's actually making me sleepy <.<;) The drums from about 2:00 sounded a teeny bit clunky compared to the lead, 3:20 brought it back niceley though. So I can't work out a clear review of this. Probably an eight or nine though, keep it up!

tijnn responds:

Hehe well i really love the sound of the drums there, personal taste i reckon.

ps: Thanks a lót for the review though!

I am an aspiring animator, and musician in my spare time. I remix videogame music and also compose music for my collaborative project, Hybrid Hardkore. My current manga/anime series, Thunderpaw, has been in development stages since 2007.
